It's an iconic sign that pretty much everyone has seen in person, in a movie, on a commercial or in a book. The famous Hollywood sign is finally getting a makeover after more than 10 years to help celebrate its 100th birthday.
It will be cleaned and painted by a crew of about 10 workers, and the makeover is expected to be completed by November 1st.
