Chicago native and Grammy nominated artist, Jonathan McReynolds, will be a judge on Sunday Best this upcoming season. After 4 years, the gospel competition is returning to BET. This will be the show's 9th season. Kirk Franklin will still host and Erica Campbell has signed on to be a judge again. Alongside McReynolds as a new judge this season is Kelly Price.
Reports say this will be the show's toughest season yet with a new stage and themed challenges. The season will still start with the live auditions where the judges visit Dallas, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Detroit. They'll have to narrow the group from 20 to 12 final contestants and then the real competition begins!
Sunday Best premieres Sunday, June 30th.
