Meghan Markle is coming home! The Duchess of Sussex will reportedly tour the United States of America with her new husband Prince Harry sometime in 2019. According to Us Weekly, the royal couple will head stateside after their official tour of New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji this October. A "palace insider" spoke to the tabloid, revealing that Meghan and Harry are "so excited to head to the U.S. Meghan is looking forward to introducing Harry to everything she loves about the U.S.”
Meghan and Harry will travel to New York, California, and Washington, D.C., as well as possibly Chicago and Canada. So, a lot of places! California, Chicago, and Canada are all close to Meghan's heart, of course. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, went to college in the Windy City, and lived in Toronto for many years while filming Suits.
Meghan and Harry reportedly want to "solidify ties between the U.K. and the U.S.," which...oh boy! They have their work cut of for them. In order to do that, the couple will travel to San Francisco where “they will meet with CEOs and female tech entrepreneurs to encourage their involvement in the industry.”
Meghan is planning an unofficial solo trip to America, as well. She'll reportedly visit friends Los Angeles and New York this summer. As Carrie Bradshaw would say, "I couldn't help but wonder..." how will Thomas Markle feel about this trip? Where will he give his next interview to reprimand his daughter for visiting friends and tech entrepreneurs before introducing him to her new hubby? Only time will tell!
