Janelle Monáe phone home! Halloween is here, and Monáe has epically transformed into E.T. and "Janelliott."
On Instagram, Janelle shared a series of photos in an incredible E.T. suit in several scenarios, including making a croissant float in thin air, as well as trying on some undergarments in front of a mirror. And on the very last slide, is the movie's famous image of Elliott (or in this case Janelliott) with E.T. in the basket of a bicycle.
Janelle captioned the series of photos, "You finally came home. Welcome back E.T. Thank you Google Maps. Starring yours truly as both E.T. & Janellllliott."
Monáe wore her E.T. costume during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, as the Grammy-winning singer shared a video of "E.T." meeting Hudson. The shocked singer/talk show host was blown away by the spot-on costume, which included a light up finger. "E.T. knows my name!," Jennifer cried out. Then, she said, "I don't know if I should say E.T. or Janelle Monáe," to which Monáe replied, "E.T. ... is Janelle Monae!"
