Grammy- nominated Ledisi and Columbus Short are set to play the horary Civil Rights activists, Malahia Jackson and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the upcoming biopic Remember Me: The Malahia Jackson Story. Ledisi said "I am honored to be given the chance to paint the world through Malahia's eyes and sing her songs." Actor Columbus Short said that he has "dreamed of playing this role for many years."
