Debbie Allen's diagnosis inspired her to form new partnership

We all know that multi-talented star Debbie Allen represents Black excellence with her persona and major roles over the years. Her recent pre- diabetes diagnosis fueled her new partnership with the National Kidney Association. Allen's main purpose is to inform others in the Black community about kidney disease, and type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes is the most common risk factor in developing kidney disease.
